Gusto Di Roma is a fictional Italian restaurant located in New York, NY. This design was heavily influenced by Roman Italian aesthetics and culture. The logo and decorative elements were hand drawn, scanned, and retouched in Adobe Illustrator.

The typeface that was chosen, Bodoni is an Italian serif typeface that provided a good balance to the organic shape of the hand-drawn mark. The color focuses mainly on the natural beauty of Italian cuisine using reds, greens, and other natural colors to entice a hunger for delicious food and evoke the visual beauty of natural Italian landscapes.
